Moore of Bowdoin Nominated by NESCAC for NCAA Woman of the Year Award
HADLEY, Mass. - Grace Moore (Groton, Mass.), a 2008 graduate of Bowdoin College and a former member of the Polar Bears’ women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse squads, has been nominated for the 2008 NCAA Woman of the Year Award by the NESCAC. The NCAA Woman of the Year Award honors senior student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership. The award has been given annually since 1991.

Women's Soccer Weekly Release #11
HADLEY, Mass. - Williams saw its stellar season draw to a close on Saturday in the sectionals of the 2007 NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament. Hamilton snapped the Ephs’ unbeaten streak at 17 games with a 2-1 decision, as the Continentals scored two goals before Williams senior Kaolin McEvoy (Longmeadow, Mass.) tallied to draw her team within one. The loss ended a record- breaking season for the Ephs, as the 17 wins and six goals allowed were both program-bests.

Hamilton Tops Williams in NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Williams (17-1-0) saw its undefeated season and bid for a program-first NCAA Championship end after a 2-1 loss to Hamilton (16-1-2). The Continentals will face the winner of Western Connecticut and Worcester State tomorrow at noon to battle for a spot in the national semifinals and a trip to Orlando, Florida.

Women's Soccer Weekly Release #10
HADLEY, Mass. - Williams advanced to the sectional round of the 2007 NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament thanks to a 1-0 victory over Springfield on Saturday. Sophomore Sarah Walmsley (Pelham Manor, N.Y.) scored the lone goal of the game for the 2007 NESCAC Women’s Soccer Champion Ephs. Bowdoin and Tufts were both unable to move past the initial rounds of the NCAA Tournament this past weekend.

Tufts Falls to Hamilton on Penalty Kicks in NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament
CLINTON, N.Y. - Hamilton junior Caroline Miller converted the deciding shoot-out goal, as the Continentals advanced past visiting Tufts, 4-3 on penalty kicks, in the second round of the NCAA Division III women's soccer championships at Love Field on Sunday.
