      <description>HADLEY, Mass. - Colby sophomore forward Marissa Simmons (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) and Williams senior goaltender Sara Plunkett (Barrington, R.I.) shared NESCAC Players of the Week for Nov. 23, 2009. Simmons had both Colby goals in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over New England College on Saturday. Plunkett stopped all 65 shots she faced this past weekend, helping her Eph squad post a 2-0 win over Hamilton on Friday and a 5-0 victory against Connecticut College on Saturday.</description>

Watson Arena, dedicated January 18, 2009, has become the first newly constructed ice arena in the United States to earn coveted LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC certified the ice arena's LEED status July 16, 2009. LEED is a voluntary, consensus-based rating system for high-performance sustainable buildings that provides a measurable standard for building owners and occupants.</description>

O'Neil replaces Shannon Bryant, who resigned. Bryant spent three years at Williams and compiled a record of 21-46-7.</description>

      <description>GLOUCESTER, Mass. - Jim Plumer, who led Amherst College to the school's first Women's NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Championship, has been voted by his peers as the Division III Women's Ice Hockey Coach of the Year for the 2008-2009 season. The Jeffs went 24-5-0, defeating the three schools who had won all seven previous NCAA Division III Ice Hockey titles en route to this year's honors.</description>

After her first shot was saved driving in on the left wing, Dennett poked in the rebound as it lie just infront of Elmira goaltender Allison Cubberley. Amherst ends its championship season with a record of 24-5, while Elmira falls to 24-5-1.</description>

      <description>MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Middlebury earned its 20th win of the season as the Panthers picked up a 3-2 overtime victory over Wisconsin-River Falls in the NCAA third place game played on campus. With just 12 seconds left in overtime, Heidi Woodworth sent a puck in from the right point, that was deflected in by Grace Waters for the game-winner. Middlebury now has 14 straight seasons with 19 or more victories. The Panthers end the year with a 20-4-4 mark, while the Falcons finish at 20-7-3.</description>

It is the fifth NESCAC crown for Middlebury and its first since 2006.</description>
