      <description>HADLEY, Mass. - Tufts junior guard Colleen Hart (Needham, Mass.) earned NESCAC Player of the Week for Nov. 23, 2009. Hart averaged 23.0 points as she went 17-for-28 from the floor (.607) and 9-for-13 from beyond the arc (.692) during a 1-1 weekend for the Jumbos at the Rino's Pizza Classic at New Paltz St. She had 31 points - one of the top 15 games in Tufts history - during a 80-78, double-overtime loss to the hosts on Friday.</description>

"Certainly this plant is second to none in New England," the Tufts Weekly crowed about the new physical education building.</description>

The Jeffs fell to Washington-St. Louis on Friday in the semifinals 65-49, then suffered a 82-74 setback to TCNJ in the third place game on Saturday morning. Although the Jeffs lost their final two games, the 29-4 record amassed this season was the best in program history.</description>

The two sides traded runs in the first half, but early in the second frame the Bears used a 16-2 run to power a 65-49 win. The Jeffs fall to 29-3, and will end their season when they face TCNJ in the Consolation Game. Tip-off in the third place game starts at 10 a.m.</description>

The Lord Jeffs improve to 27-2 on the year, while the Saints' impressive season comes to a close at 22-8. The Lord Jeffs advance to the Round of 16 for the second consecutive year, while their next opponent, game time and game location have yet to be determined. In last year's Round of 16, Amherst suffered a 68-63 loss to DePauw University, marking the best finish in program history (27-3).</description>
