Elise Tropiano (Plainview, N.Y.), a 2009 graduate of Amherst College and the NESCAC nominee for this year's award, has been selected as one of the 30 semifinalists. The NCAA Woman of the Year Award honors senior student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership.</description>
