Schedule of Events Qualifying Standards Individual Results

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Williams women won their seventh consecutive NESCAC Track & Field Championship and their 11th in the last 13 years at the Allan Dragone Track & Field Complex on the campus of Middlebury College. Tufts and Williams will share the men's title, with the Ephs earning their seventh straight piece of the crown and 14th in the last 15 years.

The Williams women finished with 201 points, followed by the host school from Middlebury (147.5), Tufts (102), Bowdoin (88) and Amherst (79). Williams and Tufts both finished with 197.5 points on the men's side, followed by Bates (95), Bowdoin (62) and Middlebury (53).

Four NESCAC records were set on the afternoon, while a dozen track records were broken. Andrew Arons of Williams had a big day, capturing both the 100 (10.81-track record) and 200 (21.72) events on the afternoon. He was also a part of the winning 4x100 (42.39) and 4x400 (3:19.16-track record) relay teams.

Branden Mirach of Williams set new NESCAC records in both the long jump (7.22m-track record) and triple jump (14.43m) events. Noah Gautheir of Bates was a dual-event winner, capturing both the shot put (15.46m) and the hammer (56.64m).

Other record-breakers for the men included David DeVaughn of Williams, who broke the track record with a toss of 49.48 meters in the discus.

On the women's side, Carrie Plitt of Williams won both the 100 (12.48) and 200 (25.74) events on the afternoon. Also winning a pair of events was her teammate Caroline Doctor, who set new track records with wins in the long jump (5.64m) and triple jump (11.84m).

Shauneen Garrahan of Amherst set a new NESCAC and track record in the 5000, capturing the event with a time of 16:51.97. Anna Morrison of Williams also broke both records, doing so in the discus with a 45.17 meter effort

Other record-breaking champions on the women side were Catherine Beck of Tufts in the 1500 (4:35.28-track record), Maddy Outman of Williams in the 100 hurdles (14.53-track record) and Louise Duffus of Bowdoin in the hammer (51.23m-track record).
