      <description>HADLEY, Mass. - Connecticut College sophomore Tim Walsh (Lincoln Park, N.J.) was named Men's Performer of the Week, while Welseyan first year Cara Colker-Eybel (Columbus, Ohio) came away with Women's Performer of the Week for Nov. 23, 2009. Walsh won the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events in 52.07 and 1:57.49, respectively, and was also the leadoff man for the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.Colker-Eybel finished first in the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard IM events during the Cardinals meet at Bates over the weekend.</description>

      <description>MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - After carrying a tenuous 52.5-point lead into the final day of the three-day 2009 NESCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Wesleyan University, Williams rolled away with its seventh consecutive team crown and eighth overall in the nine-year history of the event.  Williams outpointed second place Tufts by a whopping 185 points over the final seven events completed Sunday to collect 1,775.5 points in total.  Tufts, with 1538 points, was runner-up for the third time in the last four years.  Amherst placed third with 1,364 points.</description>
