      <description>CLINTON, N.Y. - Tracy Coffman, who was the pitching coach for the Stetson University softball team last season, has been selected the head coach at Hamilton College. Coffman spent the past seven years coaching at NCAA Division I programs Stetson and the University of Central Florida. She was a four-year varsity letter winner in softball at the University of Toledo from 1997 to 2001.</description>

      <description>WATERVILLE, Maine - Kristina Katori is coming back to Colby College as the new head softball coach. Katori, who spent four years as an assistant softball and assistant women's basketball coach at Colby during her first stint with the Mules, replaces Dick Bailey. Katori, or also known as KK, was an assistant under Bailey during her first time at Colby. Bailey retired in May with a career record of 443-296-3 in 13 years at Colby and 11 at St. Joseph's College.</description>

      <description>MONTCLAIR, N.J. - Making a name for themselves and the New England Region at the 2009 NCAA Softball Championships, the Tufts University Jumbos are now one of the final four teams playing after a solid 4-0 victory over the University of Texas at Tyler in an elimination game at Montclair State University on Sunday afternoon. The Jumbos (44-2) will get right back at it on Sunday night at 7:30 pm in another elimination game against Gustavus Adolphus. The winner will move on to the loser's bracket final to be played on Monday at noon.</description>

Chapman batted .700 (7-for-10) with an on-base percentage of .750 in helping the Jumbos record three victories and win the 2009 NESCAC Softball Championship over the weekend. ver 16 IP, Santone allowed 14 hits and two walks while holding opponents to a .233 average.</description>
