Wesleyan saw its remarkable season draw to a close in double-overtime on Saturday against Rochester. The Yellowjackets scored 38 seconds into the second extra session to secure a 2-1 victory.</description>

The Spartans (17-1-5) and Ephs (16-2-2) battled to a 1-1 tie throughout the 110 minutes of action before Williams used a 7-6 result in the shootout to advance to Sunday's sectional final.</description>

The Norwich, Vt. native is the first Wesleyan men's soccer player to make a national academic All-America squad and is the 24th Wesleyan athlete overall to be honored through the program.</description>

During Sunday's 2-1 overtime victory against Middlebury, Vella had an assist and also cleared the ball off the goal line on what appeared to be a certain goal.</description>
