The Elite 88 award, which was instituted this fall, is presented to the student-athlete with the highest grade point average who competes at the finals site of all 88 NCAA championships.</description>

      <description>COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The No. 3 Ursinus College Bears topped the  Trinity College Bantams 5-1 in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championship this afternoon, hosted by Ursinus College at Eleanor Frost Shell Alumnae Field.  Ursinus improves to 19-2 on the season and returns to the semifinal game for the third time in four years, having won the National Championship in 2006.  The Bantams end their season at 16-3.</description>

      <description>MEDFORD, Mass. - The Tufts University field hockey team advanced to the NCAA Championship semifinals for the second consecutive season with a 4-1 victory over Skidmore in a quarterfinal game on Sunday afternoon at Bello Field. Tufts, which improved to 18-1 on the season, will play Salisbury University in the semifinals at Mount Holyoke College next Saturday. Skidmore, which was making its fifth appearance in the NCAA quarterfinals, finished the year with a 17-4 record.</description>

The Bantams advance to the NCAA Quarterfinal game, which will be played tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 14, against Ursinus College (18-2), on their home turf.  The Bantams improve to 16-2 with the win, while the Panthers end their season at 12-5.</description>

The Panthers advance to an NCAA Regional at Ursinus, where they will take on Trinity on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The host school meets the winner of the Juniata @ Lynchburg (game played later today) at 11:00 a.m. The regional final will take place on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. With the victory, Middlebury improves to 17-9 all-time in NCAA Tournament play, while the Corsairs were making their first NCAA Tournament appearance.</description>
